I've needed to attempt one of the Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks for a long time, basically in light of the fact that they're intended to be genuinely dependable (the piece of information may be in the name… ) and lipstick has an irritating propensity for sticking around on my lips for around 30% the length of on every other person. The brand isn't sold in the UK so unless Sephora returns here (there should be a request… ), you'll need to ask a kind Stateside companion to send you a care bundle, or do a major request from Sephora. The bundling is somewhat longer than most fluid lipsticks which is really somewhat irritating; the more drawn out wand makes it marginally more tricky to apply, particularly with the bolder shades, I envision, and it doesn't fit into the 'lipstick stash' in my purse as effectively as others, yet it's very beautiful. The shading is splendid; it's one of those shades that appears to look changed on everybody so swatches aren't really that helpful, however you can see the shading you see on my inward arm (above) is practically what it would seem that on my lips as well. It's depicted as a 'chestnut rose', which is genuinely exact, really – it's unquestionably a decent blend of cocoa and pink, '90s without being unpleasantly so. NYX Lip Suede in Soft Spoken is a genuinely comparative shade, if not a total hoodwink, but rather the equation of the Kat von D is so much better. On the off chance that you apply it over medicine then it won't set legitimately, yet on uncovered lips it dries down to a complete that is matte without being excessively dry, and which doesn't appear, making it impossible to stress dryness or barely recognizable differences. On me it held up against water, left a slight stamp on my espresso mug, and surrendered against a rich crumpet, yet just within. When I reapplied it, and didn't torment it with margarine, it went on for around 5 hours before blurring reasonably equally. Not as dependable as I'd trusted but rather superior to anything the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams or the Sephora Cream Lip Stains. I'd certainly get some different shades – Double Dare looks dazzling, as do Mother and Nosferatu. I may give Echo a miss however… |
